My name is Melody Morrison and I am from Salem, Oregon. I am a third-year PhD student in Piano Pedagogy at FSU and love all I get to learn and do in this program! I hold a graduate assistantship at FSU where I teach class piano to music majors and I maintain a hybrid private studio with students from Oregon and Florida. I am excited for this year with MTNA @ FSU!

My name is Xixi Shen! I am a PhD student majoring in Piano Pedagogy at Florida State University. I am also a graduate teaching assistant and I teach group piano classes! I love to explore music around the world!

I'm a third-year DM student in piano performance and pursuing specialized certificates in piano and music theory pedagogy. I'm a graduate assistant in collaborative piano and a sacred music enthusiast. I'm a foodie who enjoys swimming, traveling, and watching musicals. 

I'm Rebecca Edmiston and I'm originally from Fairfax, Virginia. I'm a second-year doctoral student in collaborative piano, and I’m currently working as a Graduate Assistant pianist for the FSU opera. Teaching is my passion and I have loved being involved with MTNA over the years, so I'm excited to be leading with the FSU chapter!

My name is Janelle Crane, and I’m from Flagstaff, Arizona. I’m a first-year PhD student in Music Education and Piano Pedagogy, and I teach group piano classes here at FSU as a graduate assistant. I’m excited to be involved with the leadership team of MTNA@FSU; it’s going to be an amazing year!

My name is Nina Yim! I am passionate about music education as well as performance and outreach. I believe that music learning should be a dynamic and encapsulating full-body experience. I consider it my mission to disperse joy,  knowledge, and independence to my students!
